Alla Fairchild has been a shining light in our dark news and difficult decisions. She was always with a beautiful smile, especially when my eyes were blurry with my unshed tears. She has true compassion and empathy- qualities essential in her line of work. She helped me understand all the information flying toward us. She has given me hope. She was always ready to answer my questions and reminded me that it is our right to ask and right to get answers, again with a smile. I hope she and all the nurses realize how much they impact the sick and family members. Never stop smiling, Alla!
