Allen was attentive, patient and kind. He put up with my sometimes irritable disposition, numerous questions and offbeat sense of humor with a smile on his face. He offered me encouragement while informing me of information that was essential to my wellbeing. He helped me to face what could have been a terrifying experience in a way that I pray brought glory to my Lord. He was professional and compassionate. He laughed at my jokes as if he knew I was just striving to maintain a merry heart (which does good like a medicine) and never made me feel like I was working on his nerves or that I was just part of his job. He drove home to me that I matter and for that, I will forever be grateful. He is truly a jewel and a gift. I thank God for assigning him to care for me during my stay here. From beginning to end, he was a blessing. Calm, steady, kind and knowledgeable are but a few of the words that come to mind when I think of him.
