We moved from the ER to the PICU in the middle of the night after finding out our son has Leukemia. Allie was AMAZING. She got us settled & even helped us move to a bigger room for our stay. Her calming and happy spirit made us feel so much better about the situation. She immediately became a part of our family & made us feel so much more at home. We were blessed enough to have her three nights in a row in PICU. She not only took amazing care of our son, but she also took amazing care of us. He threw up in bed, wet the bed, we all cried, we had a million questions, etc., etc., and through it all, she was calm and loving and full of joy, which drew us to her. She came to see us in our regular room after we had moved, and even though we weren’t one of her patients, she answered our questions and, again, comforted us and loved us. She truly went above and beyond on every level. I can’t imagine how we would have handled that first night without her. She is the best.
