Allie Boatright, RN

Allie is an energetic, knowledgeable, seasoned team member of the ER.  She is always busy caring for her patients and helping other staff members care for their patients.  She is a leader, educating the less experienced nurses in a supportive manner, never intimidating.

I think her most valuable asset is her compassion for people.  Her manners with patients are kind and gentle.  She truly cares, and it shows the way she speaks to them and does whatever to make them comfortable, whether it is a warm blanket, pillow, or pain medicine. 

One of the patients was telling me last week that he had never been treated so kindly in a hospital.  As a colleague, she shows great consideration for my time as well as for IV access.  She exhausts all possibilities before calling me in.  She often says she feels bad about calling me in on my day off.  Those simple comments make me feel appreciated.

Allie is a shining star in the Lakeview ER.  She is easy to approach for anything and gets along with all the staff.  Lakeview is fortunate to have her on our team.
