Allie was chosen for this award because of her heart for serving and loving others, regardless of their situation. During her first semester, Allie worked with multiple inmate patients at Ben Taub Hosptial. She continued her selfless service through her participation in the BAMBI program, where she assisted with educating incarcerated women on prenatal education and breastfeeding techniques. Allie's patients always benefited from her kind and loving spirit, and commitment to always advocate for them full heartedly.
