My wife, K, passed away, and Allie was her nurse on 2 occasions. Both times Allie treated K and I as if we were members of her family. She took care of us like it was the most important thing she had ever done. K started to suffer from anxiety as her breathing problems increased, and Allie would sit with her and was the only one who could calm her down. When Allie was on duty, K would say how lucky she was to have such a great nurse.

Whatever K needed, Allie provided, and after her death, she was so kind to K’s siblings and me. Allie was the one who told me that K had died, and looking into her eyes, you can see and feel the empathy she had. The love Allie showed both K and me earned her a spot in my heart.

Allie – you will never know how much your care meant to K and me. I hope you go on with a long, fulfilling career that you were obviously born to do, providing the same care, both physical and emotional, to as many people as possible. You have earned my gratitude for as long as I remain on this earth, and I couldn’t have gone through this without you.
