We want to share the story of how spectacular Alli K is. A patient with COVID isolation had celebrated their birthday while in the hospital. She had noticed that the patient had no visitors and had asked the patient if anyone was planning on visiting, but they had received no calls or visitors. Alli was quick to make it a priority to make this patient feel special. She came to our unit and asked if we could share some goodies and sing happy birthday to her patient. Alli gathered both units and sang happy birthday. The patient expressed their gratitude with tears of joy. This is just a glimmer of how wonderful a nurse Alli is. Being thankful to work alongside her is an understatement.
