Early morning on Thursday my husband was in a motorcycle accident. Alli happened on the scene and saved his life… not because it was her job, he wasn’t her patient and she knew nothing about him. She didn’t know he was the husband of a fellow nurse at her own hospital or that he is an amazing father of 2 boys. She jumped into action on her own and saved a life because she was there. Her actions kept him alive to get him to a medical facility. These are the action of a hero nurse.

Alli was nominated 17 times by family and friends of the patient and shared many sentiments including She is amazing, with a big heart, and a wonderful nurse. Alli immediately stopped and began life-saving procedures on my brother. She is an extraordinary selfless nurse…… without her, my brother would not have had a chance for survival She was on the scene of this accident and her care was outstanding. An off-duty nurse happened by the accident and assisted the paramedics in resuscitation efforts, her efforts saved his life and allowed him to go on fighting before being airlifted from DMH to Springfield. She is truly an angel
