I have had so many issues with maintaining nutrition since beginning all of this chemotherapy 3 weeks ago. I have a new diagnosis of leukemia and being in this space for 3 weeks already with 3 more to go has been emotionally so stressful. Everyone keeps telling me how important my nutrition is but I just haven’t felt like eating this food. I saw that they had burgers back on the menu and was excited to have one for dinner. Unfortunately, my burger never showed up and my nurse Allison called down to get it but they couldn’t bring me one. She finished her shift and went out and purchased a burger at a good place and brought it back to the hospital for me. I know that seems small but it was so caring and kind. She really went above and beyond
