CPT(P) Crow demonstrates the epitome of a DAISY Award recipient, she met all the attributes of the selection criteria. She has devoted countless hours to enhancing the Perinatal Bereavement Program by educating over 35 staff members, including nursing, residents, physicians, and midwife care providers, to ensure this at-risk population receives the utmost compassionate and competent care.

In addition to her education initiatives, she consistently volunteers to walk alongside families who experience perinatal loss, demonstrating her internal resilience, emotional intelligence, and genuine empathy. Specifically, at the 2022 Walk to Remember, a patient recounted the intense emotional experience of losing her child and the moments and memories enhanced by CPT(P) Crow’s exemplary care that led to her attendance at the event.
