My daughter used to be a patient of Allison’s after her accident. She was the best nurse on the unit and was always caring and compassionate. The true definition of a nurse and our superhero. She was the best at NG tube placements too. As a mom, I have never experienced anything close to what I experienced in those six weeks. No matter what, Allison kept us all in good spirits and hopeful. Allison treated my daughter like family; when she was able to sit, Allison took her on wagon rides. I still see her from time to time in the hallways delivering trays, and she always asks, “How’s my girl.” Hands down, she is the best nurse we have ever had! She really deserves this award.
