Allison Gerst, RN

I was in labor at 14 weeks pregnant, losing my baby, and Allison was in my room within a minute of me arriving. Even with the circumstances, she made me feel safe and comfortable. She assisted me with any request I had in that horrible time.

We held our little baby until we were ready to let her take them to the nursery. She offered to take my phone to get some beautifully posed photos of our little one, which we did, and I will cherish those forever. She held my hand through the pain. She made sure I knew everything was on my time and up to me, even when I didn't know what to do.

Her care was beyond typical. It was extraordinary. She made us a little unofficial birth certificate and was determined to get perfect little footprints. Even though the day was the worst of my life, she was the highlight. I will never forget the level of care I received from her.

She deserves this award and so much more! Her devotion, love, and care skills are something to be recognized. She held me when I cried, and I just know she was feeling everything I felt as well. She is just full of compassion for her patients in those tough times and the good.

Allison offers every level of comfort she can think of and provides it.
