Allison helped a new mom have the birth experience she really wanted. A had to be induced due to cholestasis and had an eventful delivery. At one point we expected a C-section, but she spent so much time working with A, turning her, giving words of encouragement and helping to calm the family down. Allison was always patient when answering questions and explained everything along the way. It may have been easier on her if they whisked A away to surgery but she was right there the whole time making sure she and the baby were safe. Allison even stayed past her shift to be there with all of us to bring baby S into the world and she will forever be the nurse with heart. I also completed my clinicals there last semester and I have to say that Banner Estrella has some of the most amazing nurses working at your facility. I can only hope to be so kind and exceptional as she was for our family that day. Allison is the kind of nurse I want to be!!
