I am an LPN and have always admired the care my fellow nurses provide. Several weeks ago I found myself on the other side of healthcare. I was admitted as a patient. I was very anxious and nervous about being admitted and also being admitted to the floor I work on. I have always enjoyed working with this nurse as a co-worker but on that particular night she happened to be my admitting nurse.Allisonwas waiting in the room with a huge smile on her face when I arrived on the floor. Right away I noticed the whiteboard in the room, she had written at the bottom "Get Well- "This Floor" Loves You". At that moment all of my nervousness went away. I knew I was in the right place! Everything she said and did made me feel at ease and comfortable. It was so nice having a friendly and familiar face, but also one that I knew would take excellent care of me and make me laugh. I am honored to work with such an outstanding nurse and I am proud to say that the care she provides our patients is amazing! Thank you for making such a difficult time much more comfortable and enjoyable.
