From triage to delivery Allison was by our sides, asking questions, listening, and making sure that our delivery was everything that we wanted it to be! Allison's attention to detail is impeccable and is something that did not go unnoticed during our delivery! We appreciate all the thought she put into making our delivery special. Allison took the time to listen to my prior delivery experience with my first daughter and the things that I wanted to try to avoid this delivery. She made sure that all those concerns were addressed and conveyed to the team during delivery. I told Allison that I wanted to try for a natural delivery, although I did not have much confidence in this decision due to the fact that was my goal for my last delivery and it did not happen. Allison made sure to keep me as comfortable and relaxed as possible when she could see that I was starting to waver from my plans. She educated my husband on different techniques to help me through my contractions as well! When it came time to push, Allison helped coach me and get me through each push and I was able to deliver my beautiful baby girl naturally! Allison helped me fulfill my dream of having a natural delivery and I cannot thank her enough for making this experience more perfect for our family. This is more than likely our last baby so to be able to close this chapter on such a high note is something I will forever cherish. I want Allison to know that she helped make this birth one of the most memorable, empowering, beautiful moments of our lives and we cannot thank her enough for all she did for us! Centra and the labor and delivery unit are blessed to have such a wonderful nurse like Allison to care for their patients!
