Allison Hornung has been Faculty at Chamberlain College of Nursing since August 2014, and has taught components of several courses, including Health and Wellness, Health Assessment, Fundamentals of Nursing, and Pediatrics. Currently, she is the Health and Wellness Course Coordinator. A little about her...Allison has been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years. She graduated in 2004 from Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA with her BSN.  In 2010, she earned her MSN from The University of South Alabama. Currently, she is a student in Chamberlain 's DNP program. Her nursing specialty is Pediatrics. She is a certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has held staffing positions in the Pediatric ICU and in a General Pediatric unit before joining the faculty at Chamberlain. Additionally, she has worked in Home Care and as a Clinical Nurse Manager/ Case Manager. She also teaches CPR courses through the American Heart Association as a certified Instructor. Her personal mission is to facilitate student 's learning experience as they transform into EXTRAORDINARY NURSES!
