I had to bring my husband to the ER. About 18 months ago, he had a bad experience at another hospital, so he was very nervous about coming in. The day we were at the ER, it was busy. We were informed that he would need to stay in the ER all night due to the lack of beds. Our nurse, Allison, made him feel special by assuring us that she would continue to find him a bed so he could get settled in. She kept communicating and checking in to see if we needed anything. Allison even mentioned that she would check on him the next night when she worked. My husband truly felt cared for, and we can't thank our nurse enough. It's the personal touch that makes a difference to a patient. Allison spoke highly of the hospital, staff, and doctors, which made my husband feel safe and in good hands. This made all the difference and turned his stay into a positive hospital experience.
