Allison J Maurais, RN

Allison is such a leader on our unit, and one of the ways that I really appreciate her leadership is through her encouragement and coaching of her peers. We have so many new nurses, and after combining units, we are also learning how to combine teams. Allison is constantly coaching and teaching, and she goes out of her way to highlight when caregivers are doing an awesome job. We are all so busy, but she takes the time to tell people when she sees them working hard, providing amazing care, or going above and beyond. She encourages others to do the same - I appreciate that when she hears things she always encourages us to circle back provide the coaching or compliment. She is an amazing nurse and amazing leader, and we are so lucky to have her! Allison brings up the vibes on our whole unit through her encouragement, coaching, and fun laugh. With all the recent changes and stress, we need that!
