Allison Johnson 2024 IN, RN

My best friend of 31 years was in patient. She was very ill with stage 4 uterine cancer. Allison was her nurse for several evenings. Allison’s care and compassion for my friend were extraordinary. On the days that Allison was not her nurse, she came by the room to ask if we needed anything or had any questions. The day we took my friend home with hospice she came by to tell the entire family how sorry she was. She mentioned that my friend was a kind person and a wonderful patient. I will never forget the kindness, caring, compassion, respect, and patience. Allison’s empathy for all of us was so sweet and kind. She made sure my friend was comfortable in the last week of her life, and I will never forget her. Thank you, Allison, for being a wonderful nurse and human.
