Allison Lande, BSN, RN

Allison is a marvelous nurse who exemplifies every detail of a DAISY Nurse. She is an excellent teacher and mentor to new nurses and techs. She never makes any new employee feel unvalued or incompetent by asking questions. Allison is always providing positive feedback and looking for new ways to provide the new employee with the best orientation experience. Allison is not only valued as a mentor but also as a nurse who is reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. She is a go-to nurse for other staff members and physicians alike. She has a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to share her expertise with colleagues, physicians, and patients. I have witnessed first-hand, Allison providing calmness in a storm. She has the ability to calm anxious patients and family members with her bright smile and caring touch. She can also calm an uneasy physician with her knowledge, wit, and persistent helping manner. Allison is a leader among the unit and deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond for new employees, seasoned co-workers, physicians, and most importantly, the patients.
