Allison, forever comforting my family and me in our time when we were so terrified of touching, let alone breathing the same air as our preemie baby. Allison explained everything to the tip of the T so we could understand everything going on and not be out of the loop with all this medical language. Like our baby’s vital signs, what the green strip meant, the blue, the white, the red. Allison, let us provide basic care for our baby. Changing her diaper for the “first” time, doing our baby’s oral care, and even letting us take her temperature! She was so patient with us as new parents and even patient with our preemie, who is very feisty and stubborn! Little things like this made my significant other and I feel like a part of our baby’s newborn stage while going through this difficult time.
