Allison Murphy, BSN, RN

Allison wasn't my nurse, but she is my co-worker. One day, we had a patient situation that was horrible. Allison took care of this patient. He would go through violent episodes. Allison always seemed to know exactly what to do to calm this patient down, even when he was trying to throw punches at all of us. She was the perfect loving, caring mother-figure to this older patient. Allison is a mother figure to our whole department. She deserves all the recognition in the world for everything she does in our ER. It doesn't matter if you are a patient, staff member, whoever; she takes care of you like her own family. We need more nurses like her in this world.
