One day, I had a patient that triggered a sepsis alert at pretty much shift change. I was fairly new and tried to handle it the best I could. Immediately I felt support from Allison. She jumped right up and walked me through the process while helping me stabilize the patient. Eventually, the patient had to be transferred to the Critical Care unit but I felt comfortable with all the interventions we did. Allie has an amazing way of being calm and collected while still displaying extraordinary nursing care. She has a natural talent for making patients and family members alike feel at ease. She is truly an asset to ESJH.
