Allison met us in the ICU the night my husband was admitted. She kept me abreast of all that was going on. After receiving a diagnosis of double pneumonia and flu, he could not be calmed down and they had to put him on a vent.
Allison prepped me for what was to happen and took me to the waiting room, saying she would be back when the procedure was done. True to her word, she returned and told me it went well and I could see him soon. This was around 1:30 am. She came around and got me; I saw him and went home. At 5:30 am, I missed a call from the hospital. I was later to learn that my husband had started to crash and they almost lost him. Allison said it took a lot of sedatives to get him to quiet down.
Allison got to know us very well that week and over the next few weeks. When she found out that we like Christian music she brought in two of her CDs from home.
Allison's caring and thoughtfulness go above and beyond.

Thank you, Allison, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
