Allison Van Nest, BSN

Allison is ALWAYS there for EVERYONE, our patients, their family members, and even other staff from other units. You do not have to ask her twice for anything; you really don't have to ask at all. She is the type of person who can hear or see you in distress over an issue, and here she comes to the rescue. The work our remarkable nurses put in to care for the patients can get a bit overwhelming at times, and I have seen Allison come to the aid of her co-workers, and it is like she has lifted the biggest weight off of their shoulders. Allison is an all-around team player. Allison also has a way of talking to patients and their family members to help make light of a situation. She is always so pleasant and kind. I never hear her complain about helping anybody. To be honest, when she is out on PTO, we all are a little lost without her presence. I think Allison is the smartest, joyful, and most kind-hearted person, and I believe she was put in this field of work for a purpose. She is an Angel!!
