Allison W. Cooke, BSN, RN

Allison Cooke had an exceedingly available ear to listen with. When she had the time, she engaged in conversation. This illustrated her uncommon compassion for me and her patients. We were treated with great respect. She seemed to highly value me as a person, more than simply a patient. She took personal interest in my medical situation along with my emotional needs. Without sacrificing her responsibilities, she respected my need for sleep. She probably knew that I was admitted at 3:00am, but I’ve had people that have not shown the consideration that Allison did. Thank you, Allison! When you sensed that I was getting frustrated and wanted out of the hospital, your sensitivity helped me to relax.
