Now, as they prepare to send R home to continue care and comfort, Allison has been diligent in educating family members, including creating a binder of instructions with photos she has taken of equipment, helping make the transition from hospital to home as smooth as possible. It is clear that Allison has shown the utmost quality of care and compassion for R and his family, and they have expressed their desire for her to be recognized for her heartfelt care for him by going above and beyond what is required of her.
