I want to thank Ally for everything she did for us. I will never forget her. I brought my husband to the ER on an early Sunday morning. He was having shortness of breath, trembling, and was very cold. After running some tests everything went crazy, his hemoglobin was low, potassium was at a critical level, and sodium was low. He was in kidney failure. We were moved to the west unit ICU stepdown, where everyone was helping him to get stable. I was so worried and scared for him.

After a couple of days with no sleep, crying when he wasn't aware, and knowing how close he was to dying, my mind and heart were going in different directions. I received a call from his doctor in Nashville who wanted him to be transferred as soon as possible.  After several hours nothing seemed to be getting done. On Thursday of that week, I was feeling really down and wondering what was I going to do.

That same morning this beautiful young lady walked through the door like a ray of sunshine. She had an infectious smile all while being very compassionate toward her patients. After seeing how she loved her job, I told her what was happening. She then started doing everything she could to make this happen for my husband. I know I hugged her and cried the day she left. Ally has no idea how much she did for me that day.
