I had to have an emergency C-section, and my baby was born early at 29 weeks. Ally Patterson was there at the delivery taking care of our son, and she has continued to provide excellent care throughout his stay in the NICU. She goes above and beyond in her care, and the day I had to discharge from postpartum but leave my baby in the NICU was difficult, but I felt so relieved knowing Ally was there to take good care of him. She not only provides excellent care for my baby, but she is very personable and takes the time to answer all our questions and get to know us.

For example, one day after rounds, my husband and I were confused about the plan of treatment because the day before the doctor had said something different. We told Ally, and she was not afraid to speak up for us. She went and told the doctor immediately, and he came in and explained to us that he had collaborated with the other doctor and they agreed on this new plan of treatment. My husband and I were very reassured after that. Ally truly listened to our concerns and acted on them immediately. Ally is an incredible nurse.
