Wholeheartedly I believe that Allyson provided excellent care. She did a remarkable job being a caring, nurturing, compassionate, dignity-oriented, safe, and quality-driven RN.
My mom was very sick with pancreatic cancer and has been very ill on the 14th Floor, NYU Langone, Tisch. Allyson was my mom's nurse for a few days and went above and beyond to provide holistic, compassionate, respected, and dignified care to my mom. Allyson introduced herself to my mom with full passion for human beings in a caring and dignified way. She made eye contact with my mom and connected with her phenomenally, used expressions of relief, and took great interest in her. Allyson assessed my mother very closely for skin integrity and applied skin foam to her back, neck, and sacrum, and gave her a complete bath and care.

She went above and beyond to ensure that the suction canister system is in place so that we give good oral care to my mom. She called engineering a few times to ensure suction was working. I was so touched when she ordered my mom an air mattress so that my mom is comfortable and does not develop pressure ulcers. Allyson provided excellent patient-centered, safe, and quality care. Allyson's demeanor towards every need of my mom is so caring, touching, and spectacular. She drew bloodwork from her frail body with such compassion and empathy. She also demonstrated great holistic communication in a therapeutic environment even though she speaks only Hindi. The majority of my mom’s care for that given shift was placed in Allyson's hands in great harmony and one accord. Allyson empowered my mom to make simple decisions in her care and treatment. She also addressed some of her emotional concerns such as making sure her daughter and son-in-law are at the bedside.

Wholeheartedly I believe that Allyson provided excellent care. She did a remarkable job being a caring, nurturing, compassionate, dignity-oriented, safe, and quality-driven RN. She is a critical thinker dedicated to excellent care. She was also mentoring a new RN and I believe that Allyson is remarkable in doing that job as well. I wish Allyson a greatly rewarding and nurturing nursing career. I strongly believe that Allyson deserves this award to the fullest. God Bless Allyson and her family who supported my mom and me in this difficult time.
