I witnessed Alma, RN help a patient who could not read. He was non-compliant with his needs because he could not read the medicine bottles. Alma, RN took time to cut pictures that she printed from the internet and placed them on the medication in separate bags. She also marked them: day/night with the times the doses were to be taken. She put the color of the pill on the picture. This really touched me that she went above and beyond for this patient. The patient was grateful and so was I. Thank you.
