Althea Mt Pleasant, BSN, RN

I was admitted to 4B following a planned-out suicide attempt and was rushed to the ER. I was told I would be transferred to 4B for mental health care. I was so very nervous about being there, but then I met Althea Pleasant. She was amazing, to say the least. She made me feel better and as though my life was worth living, expressing that she cared about me. That did more for me than she will ever know. Her impact was profound, I still remember it to this day. Thank you, Althea and to Upstate Hospital for having excellent nursing staff.
