Alyne Vargas, RN

I was a patient at Saint Francis, where the doctor had to clean out my arteries in order to prepare for my open heart surgery. Even though I was only in the hospital overnight in the ICU, Alyne Vargas Could not have been any better as my nurse than she was. She was amazing; never once did I wait more than three seconds after pushing the call button. It did not matter whether I needed to go to the bathroom, whether I needed food, water, medicine, or just someone to talk to about what was going on. Never once did I want anything that I did not have within seconds, and never once was there a complaint. The answer when I thanked her was always the same, “Of course, It’s my pleasure.” I hope you have an amazing day, and I look forward to taking care of you next time. I do understand that one night does not give a lot of significance to the task however, I have had lots of surgeries and spent lots of time in recovery, and I have never once had a nurse who did as good a job as this young lady. She is going to be an absolutely amazing nurse for countless numbers of people
