Where to begin...every once in a while, you are hospitalized and this being my hundredth or so hospitalization, I knew the lay out, all about the call light, and the frowned-upon height of the bed that I had elevated past its usual state, etc. You wait for the nurse to arrive and raise their voice at you for elevating the bed and then they start asking you all those admission questions. So, when Alyson walked into my room, I was waiting for those previously mentioned events to begin, but instead, Alyson was easy-going, professional, full of comedy, possessing the most easy-going personality one could have.
