Alyssa Desjardins, BSN, RN

Alyssa is an amazing charge nurse. Through a significant event that happened on the unit, she remained calm and supportive of her team, while simultaneously thinking critically to help save the patient. After the event, Alyssa led an excellent debrief and checked in with us individually to see how we were coping. Furthermore, she forwarded us the link to Morbidity & Mortality to ensure we could learn more from the event. Her heart is in the perfect spot for her colleagues and patients. The patient was transferred off the unit and Alyssa went to check on the patient and the family multiple times. I hope Alyssa knows how much we appreciate her and that she receives the same support she offers us. Thank you so much!
