Alyssa Dugger, RN
Every nurse has a story, and Alyssa Dugger's story is one of purpose, compassion, and a lifelong commitment to caring for others.
Long before she became a registered nurse, Alyssa began her healthcare journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a long-term care facility. It was there, while caring for some of the most vulnerable patients, that she discovered something powerful: even the smallest act of kindness could bring comfort, hope, and dignity to another person. That experience ignited a passion that would shape the course of her career.
Determined to continue growing, Alyssa became a medical assistant, gaining valuable experience in general surgery and hematology/oncology. Working alongside nurses and physicians, she witnessed firsthand the profound difference compassionate nursing care could make. Those experiences inspired her to pursue her dream of becoming a registered nurse.
Today, Alyssa is known for the meaningful relationships she builds with her patients. She believes every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. She approaches each interaction with kindness, communicates with compassion, collaborates seamlessly with her team, and continually seeks opportunities to learn so she can provide the highest quality care possible.
For Alyssa, nursing has never been just a career—it has always been a calling. She chose this profession because she wanted to advocate for patients, guide them through some of life's most difficult moments, and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Every day, nursing continues to challenge her, inspire her, and remind her why she answered that calling.
