Alyssa on maternity at PHE was one of the main reasons my recent stay/delivery on maternity will be one I will never forget and am the most grateful for. When you have a nurse who goes above and beyond their expected duties, to not only care for you but for everyone around you, that is someone who deserves recognition. Not to mention excelling way beyond expected nursing care. Alyssa is able to apply critical thinking skills to her patient care, which goes from thinking about your patients as not another patient or number, to actually providing the best care you can. Not every nurse has that gift/ability, but she does! I am so thankful for her expertise during my care and my baby's care.

Besides providing fantastic nursing care, Alyssa was more than there for me and my family during my stay. She made me feel so comfortable in every aspect of my care. Again, not something every nurse can do. And, you can tell it's so natural to her, not trying. She made sure I was informed and discussed everything with me. She even took the time to make a personalized footprint keepsake that we will forever cherish. I literally can't say enough good things about her. I'll end it with this, myself included, everyone will greatly benefit from the amazing nurse Alyssa is and what she brings to this hospital.
