Recently, Alyssa spent the majority of her workday managing a very complex and challenging discharge. Despite the emotional and logistical weight of the situation, she still maintained her full patient load with grace, professionalism, and unwavering kindness.

What stands out most about Alyssa is her ability to approach even the most difficult patients with empathy and a belief that they deserve the very best care. In moments that could easily make a nurse feel frustrated or jaded, Alyssa leans in with understanding. She sees people for who they are beyond their circumstances, and she advocates fiercely for their well-being.

Alyssa consistently goes above and beyond, not for recognition, but because that is simply who she is. She is the kind of nurse and coworker who lifts up everyone around her.
