Alyssa Creighton constantly demonstrates confidence and critical thinking when using her nursing skills. Today, Alyssa noticed a man sitting on a bench outside of the hospital who appeared unwell. Instead of ignoring him, she approached the man and his son and found that the man was unconscious. She immediately called for help, initiated a condition, and began instructing the son on how to help her. Alyssa performed CPR, and thanks to her attentiveness, caring, quick action, and skills, the man survived and was taken to the ED. Alyssa saved his life because she cares enough to recognize concerns and take ownership of every situation, and she deserves to be recognized. I’m proud to work with Alyssa and always feel confident when I know she’s there to support and help.
