April 2021 Honoree
Alyssa McClain, RN
I was a new patient with lung cancer, she treated me and my family as if we were her family. I watched and listened to her talk with other patients and families, and she was very compassionate and knowledgeable of everyone’s concerns.
She also set examples to her co-workers with complete knowledge and compassion to all. I’m 66 years old and was very impressed to see such pride and compassion of her job and the ability to ease other people’s pain at such a time in their life. And she is a young lady with many more years to set such high examples to others. She was a breath of fresh air.

Thank you, Alyssa, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
