R asked his nurse, Alyssa, for extra hospital gowns to take home because he didn’t have very many clothes. The next day Alyssa brought the patient several outfits she had purchased for him. R recognized Alyssa during my rounding. He was tearful and excited. The clothes will help keep him warm as the weather is cooling down. R was amazed someone cared enough to do this. Alyssa went above and beyond for her patient as she often does.
