I am 31 years old & a mother of 4 children. I came to Genesis East before to deliver my third baby all by Midwives at this hospital whom I trust 100%. I've never bonded with a nurse during labor the way I have with Alyssa. After an amazing birthing experience, I began hemorrhaging. Alyssa was so attentive to the issue, of course being hands down the most professional nurse I've ever encountered. She did her job with more generosity, genuine & real love, and care for me than I've ever received before. Her love for her job made doing it so effortless that she was able to calm me during one of the scariest experiences of my life. She was there for me during one of my weakest moments like she was my family. Alyssa may not know you from Adam, but you will leave that hospital knowing that you gained a lifelong friend whom you never want to fall out of touch with. As I was pulled out of the room on my way to surgery, she ran with me speaking positive and loving supportive words with tears in her eyes, seeing the tears in mine. That is love! Alyssa saved a piece of me during my happy/traumatic stay at East. This hospital is so incredibly lucky to have her on their team. With every ounce of me, I have never felt the love and appreciation towards anyone in any medical setting in my life. I will always remember her and how positively she affected my life during my three days stay.
