A return patient wrote a 3-page letter describing Alyssa's care. When the patient returned to the hospital, Alyssa not only remembered the patient but asked about how she had done after she was last seen. The patient described Alyssa as compassionate, cheerful upbeat and most of all professional. She has raised the bar for nursing care in the eye of her patients.
