I was a patient with the virus and I was admitted to the hospital on New Year's Eve. I was scared and extremely nervous, not knowing if I was ever going to see my family again. I parted ways with my family at the ER door. It was not until I met this young Nurse, Aly Starr, did I calm down. She made sure I was comfortable and would just talk to me. We talked about our families, the weather, current events. She would come to my room a few times during her shift just to talk to me.
I had no visitors from the outside in the six days I was there. I truly believe this Nurse deserves this recognition because she did go above and beyond to make my stay at this hospital a very pleasant one because after all, many die from this virus. I was just very fortunate that Aly, the Nurse who really calmed me down, was assigned to me. I wish her all the luck in the world. Aly is one great Nurse. Chester County is lucky to have her.
