Alyssa Wisnefsky, BSN, RN

I’m a single mother to a medically complex kiddo, and most hospital visits aren’t quick and easy. What was planned to be a simple/quick admission turned into a whirlwind of events in a very short period of time. During the first shift, Alyssa was with us, and we had a lot of hard things thrown our way. She was an amazing support. You could tell she genuinely cared. Each shift she worked, she made sure to try to come back to my child. The consistency of care means so much. My child has many needs, so having a person who knows him and whom I trust allows me to be a little more relaxed. Alyssa was also a great advocate for us. She helped my voice be heard by his care team. We feel incredibly honored to have had so much time during our stay with Alyssa. She is truly an asset to AFCH!
