I was a patient in the ED. The ED was busy, and I was in for SOB when exertion. After waiting for labs for two hours, I was ready to leave. Aman Kaur came out and told me that, as a “human being,” she was generally concerned about me and convinced me to stay. She explained the reasons for the delays. Because of her kindness and compassion, I stayed. If I had walked, the end result could have been catastrophic. I watched her work the back triage area with such dignity and grace. She is such an asset to the hospital.
