Amanda was very personable with me. She was very informative and just overly nice, and she actually wanted to know how I was doing and if I needed anything. She explained things to me and made sure I understood them. I was taken to McKee Medical Center Emergency Entrance by my sister-in-law. Her husband and my husband were brothers. Now both are deceased! All five brothers are deceased as well as their dad and Mother and Aunts and Uncles. Anyways, when Amanda had a moment she would sit and listen to my stories of my husband and what a good man and gentleman he was. That really made her smile. Monday when I was ready to go home, she kept checking in on me to make sure I got my wheelchair. She ended up getting my wheelchair for me and then personally took me out to my sister-in-law’s car herself. I think she went over and above her duty as a nurse and deserves this recognition. I love her.
