A patient at SJMOH’s Macomb Center submitted a DAISY award for her nurse, Amanda Bilot, RN on 4 Center.
“The first time I met my nurse Amanda, she knew I was hard of hearing and she was very considerate when she spoke to me and showed compassion. No matter when I called for her, or when she came in my room and I asked her for something, she immediately took care of it for me along with a beautiful smile. I took comfort in knowing that I was going to be well treated when she was my nurse. Amanda is the type of nurse that any patient would like to have and I am lucky that she was mine. Even though I was happy to come home, I will miss her. She is well deserving of the DAISY Award.”
