Amanda Bowman 2022, BSN, RN

Last year, our son was born early at 34 weeks, weighing 3lbs 11oz, and Amanda cared for our baby during his stay in the Special Care Nursery. Amanda is smart, kind, thoughtful, and patient. She took the time to answer our questions, and she taught us so much about caring for preemies. Being new parents, she gave us the confidence we needed to take our baby home. When we were first home, we would often reference notes/tips we learned from Amanda, and my husband and I would often find ourselves saying, “Amanda taught me that.” Now, our son is 4 months old and thriving. I am so grateful for the care he received in the Special Care Nursery, and we cannot recommend Amanda highly enough for this award.
