I was admitted for pancreatitis and brought to my room where I received excellent care. However, one RN, Amanda was a cut above. When Amanda walked into the room she was like a beam of light that "lit up" the room and made me feel loved. She was cheerful, had a wonderful smile and made my husband and I feel like family. She was upbeat, helpful, and warm. genuine and cooperative. She kept us abreast of the care process in a very clear and concise way. No questions went unanswered. She always went the "extra mile" with her care. Coming to work with a positive attitude is important I give an A+. Thank you for having such outstanding caregivers at Mary Washington Hospital who stand ready to care for those in need of help
